WITNESS OF COMMISIONING TESTS
To witness field acceptance tests (FAT) on behalf of the client in order to ascertain that required or guaranteed performance values are met. Checking procedures include verifying test program, confirming suitability of measuring instruments in terms of capacity and capability, calibration of measuring instruments, visual examination of equipment or plant for completeness and readiness, and laboratory methods utilized for analysis during testing period.
PRE-AWARD AND PRE-QUALIFICATION SURVEY
To assess, by means of an appropriate and objective investigation, the overall capability of a potential equipment or service supplier to meet all the requirements of a proposed purchase.
SUPERVISION OF LOADING AND UNLOADING
To verify, during loading and unloading operation, that the correct material or equipment is properly handled and adequately secured on the means of transport. The typical operations performed are:
- Checking the general appearance of the packing
- Verification of the number of packing cases and the marking against the contractual specifications.
- Checking the appropriate handling during loading and unloading operations.
- Checking the general cleanliness of the means of transport such as the hold, the container, the railway wagon, or the deck.
- Checking the stowing, fastening and wedging on the means of transport, and for proper protection against the natural elements.
- Checking of loading documents.
OVERSEAS INSPECTION / EXPEDITING SERVICES
Inspection of goods outside the Korea is offered through the affiliate network world-wide. The scope is agreed with the client and the communicated to the relevant qualified affiliate tasked with undertaking the assignment.
